AlaskaCare members in Anchorage have an opportunity to receive a variety of blood tests free of charge at the AlaskaCare Health Fair. This event is open to all AlaskaCare Health Plan members and dependents who are 18 and older. Available services include health education, blood pressure screenings, and measurements for height, weight, waist circumference, and BMI.
- Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3, 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Alaska Regional Hospital

Chemistry & Hematology Panel
This free blood panel includes: CBC, basic metabolic panel, lipid panel, A1c levels. Fast for 12 hours, but continue to take all medications and drink plenty of water. Hepatitis C is free for those born between 1945-1965. Vitamin D is offered at no cost.
Flu Shot Update
Flu shots will only be available on Saturday, November 2. You can also visit your local Costco to receive your flu shot. If you are an AlaskaCare Employee Health Plan member, it is necessary that you present your AlaskaCare ID card prior to receiving the vaccination, no co-pay required. If you are an AlaskaCare Retiree Health Plan member, simply pay the cash price of $14.99 at time of service. You can also visit your local Costco to receive your flu shot.
