New Dedicated Phone Number for HMS Gainwell

Dear Alaska Medicaid Behavioral Health Providers,

Behavioral Health providers needing to contact HMS Gainwell, the new fiscal agent for Behavioral Health claims, will have a dedicated phone line to call starting October 1, 2024.

Behavioral health providers needing assistance with claims, member eligibility, or any other AK Medicaid questions, will be able to call and speak to trained Provider Inquiry agents.

The new phone number is 855-293-3568, and office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm AKST.
