Alaska DOH sent this bulletin at 10/14/2022 09:09 AM AKDT
Today Secretary of Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra, declared under section 319 of the Public Health Service Act that a public health emergency exists nationwide and a renewal of the declaration is effective October 13, 2022.
The Division of Behavioral Health will continue to provide the following flexibilities related to the declaration of the public health emergency:
- DBH Expanded Telehealth Services v1.3
- DBH Guidance 6 Service Authorizations
- DBH Guidance 5 v1.2 PRTF and Residential
- *acute psychiatric hospitals and PRTFs must continue to enter utilization review (UR) notes into the Comagine JIVA system and submit critical incident reports
