EMS Vitals: Alaska EMS, Forward TogetherUpcoming Opportunities

Alaska EMS ECHO, Fridays at 10 AM

Under the direction of Dr. Anne Zink, Alaska's Chief Medical Officer, and Alaska's Public Health leadership team, the UAA Center for Human Development Project ECHO is developing multiple district ECHOs in response to the current health crisis.

ECHO is a collaborative model of education that makes specialty knowledge accessible wherever it is needed to save and improve people’s lives. Through the use of videoconferencing, participants teach and learn from each other through brief lectures, case presentations, and rich dialogue.

EMS and other first responders are facing new and evolving challenges during the pandemic. EMS providers are coming up with innovative ways to continue to deliver high quality care in this new rapidly shifting landscape.

All Alaskan first responders are invited and encouraged to participate in the Alaska EMS ECHO held every Friday at 10am. CME is offered to all provider levels. For more information, please contact the Alaska ECHO Team.
