Section 1115 Waiver Update e-Memo - Denied 1115 Payment Update

Dear Provider:

Thank you for your feedback related to provider enrollment.  In response to recent systems hiccups related to denied 1115 payments the department has issued an 1115 SUD provider update.

1115 SUD Provider Update

If you have enrolled each of your facility/locations with Conduent to provide 1115 SUD services but used the same NPI as any other enrollments THEN you will need to get a new NPI and update your provider enrollment file immediately. Failure to update date immediately could result in denied payments or delay in your revenue stream. A link is provided below for the Conduent provider enrollment update form.

If you are newly enrolling a facility/location with Conduent to provide 1115 SUD services you are required to get a separate NPI for each enrollment. A link to the NNPES website to create an account or modify an account is provided below.

Important: Each Medicaid enrollment requires a unique NPI

It is also important for all providers to review their current NPI accounts and Medicaid enrollments for consistency and accuracy. Failure to update addresses is a common error. NPPES and Conduent require providers to update addresses within 30 days of the change. Please review and update your accounts.
