Preventing Suicide In Your Community

It it is important to remember that no one—health care specialist, teacher, counselor, and not the most passionate and involved parent—can establish effective suicide prevention strategies alone. The participation, support, and active involvement of others in the community are essential for success. Take part in prevention for your community, check out the community checklist provided on page 44 and 45 within the State of Alaska Suicide Prevention Plan 2018-2022.
