Inclusive Playdates at Playgrounds in Anchorage

Anchorage Park Foundation along with partners will be holding a series of Inclusive PlayDates this summer:
Inclusive PlayDates All abilities and ages are welcome! Inclusive Play means that children and families of all abilities are able to play together without barriers. Explore some of Anchorage’s best playgrounds designed to facilitate boundless play, and make new friends at our organized play sessions with Inclusive Play partners.
- Wednesday May 23, 12pm-1pm Kincaid Park (at the playground, near pavilion by the Chalet), 9401 Raspberry Road Hosted by Governor’s Council on Disabilities and Special Education
- Wednesday June 20, 12pm-1pm David Green Park, 3682 MacInnes Street (@36th Ave) Hosted by Alaska Center for the Blind and Stone Soup Group
- Saturday July 21, 12pm-1pm South Anchorage Sports Park, 769 West Klatt Road A Disability Pride Celebration hosted by Hope Community Resources
- Saturday August 18, 12pm-1pm Chanshtnu Muldoon Park, 1301 Muldoon Road A Park Place play date with the Anchorage Museum
- Wednesday August 29, 4:30pm-6pm Kiwanis Fish Creek Park, 3907 East Turnagain Blvd Hosted by the Arc of Anchorage
