Webster and Posey Tube Closures October 21 to October 24

The Webster and Posey tubes between Alameda and Oakland will be closed Monday through Wednesday, October 21 through October 24, from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. each night.

Buses going between western Alameda and downtown Oakland will detour via Buena Vista Avenue and the Park Street Bridge. This affects lines 20, 31, 51A, 851, and O.

In addition to the long detour, several stops will be skipped near the tube on each line.

Lines 20, 51A, 851, and O from the Webster Tube will bypass the stop on Webster Street at  Willie Stargell Avenue. Board these lines on Webster Street at Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway (Atlantic Avenue).

Lines 20, 51A, 851, and O toward the Posey Tube will bypass the stops on Webster Street at Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway (Atlantic Avenue) and at Willie Stargell Avenue. Board these lines on Webster Street at Buena Vista Avenue.

Line 31 from the Webster Tube will skip all stops along Mariner Square Loop and Marina Village Parkway. Board Line 31 on Atlantic Avenue at Constitution Way.

Line 31 toward the Posey Tube will not skip any stops.
