AC Transit Board to Receive Report on Recommendation to Increase Transbay Service

Dear transbay passengers,

This Wednesday, September 11, at its regular evening meeting in Oakland, the AC Transit Board will receive a report outlining service recommendations related to the agency's Inner East Bay Comprehensive Operations Analysis (COA), which includes $9 million to expand transbay bus service between the East Bay and San Francisco.

The public is invited to attend and provide comment on the recommendations that were initially presented to the Board and to AC Transit's Transbay Taskforce this past June.

Please note that the Board will not be taking any action at this meeting. Once funding is identified for these service enhancements, AC Transit will provide opportunities for the public to provide input, including the scheduling of a public hearing.
