Exciting news! Starting July 2 -- Expanded service on the Dumbarton Express
Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit) sent this bulletin at 06/20/2012 11:06 AM PDT
On July 2, the Dumbarton Express lines DB and DB1 will begin new and expanded service between the East Bay and the Peninsula via the Dumbarton Bridge. A proposal to expand the service was approved by the AC Transit Board of Directors in April, following a period of public comment and a public hearing. The service, which is run by a consortium of transit agencies, is administered by AC Transit.
Highlights of the newly-expanded Dumbarton Express service include:
- More trips, with greater frequency
- Direct service to the Stanford campus
- Free wi-fi, with new equipment being installed this summer
- Real-time departure information -- available by phone, text, and web and at the Ardenwood Park & Ride Lot
