Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit) sent this bulletin at 03/14/2012 11:15 PM PDT
The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) is soliciting applications from Bay Area residents interested in serving on the TJPA Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). The application can be downloaded from the TJPA web site, and is due by Friday, March 23, 2012.
The TJPA CAC is comprised of 15 members who collectively reflect the many regional and local groups interested in the Transbay Transit Center Program. There are currently eight seats available on the committee, and one of those seats will be filled by an AC Transit transbay rider, preferably someone who uses the service regularly. CAC terms are for a period of two years, and each member is eligible to serve a maximum of three consecutive terms.
We encourage interested transbay riders to apply for this great opportunity to be part of the Transbay Transit Center project. For more information about the TJPA and the project, visit www.transbaycenter.org.
