This FREE fire and life safety event is for kids of all ages. The event is held
each year at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and features inside booths,
entertainment and food, as well as an entire outdoor area with
“touch-a-truck” displays and demonstrations by the Firefighters.
Each organization that joins puts together
an engaging, interactive activity with a safety message.
One of the biggest draws of
the event is the bike helmet fitting area. Bike helmets to children
and adults are offered for little to no cost!

This is a Fishing Kids event designed to provide all children, ages 5-14, the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing. 300 children will have the opportunity to receive a Fishing Kids t-shirt and rod & reel to keep! The kids will fish in groups on-shore for up to 45 minutes receiving instruction by experienced anglers on angling techniques and environmental stewardship.
