Blue Address Signs Available for Purchase at the Peninsula Home & Garden Expo
(Port Orchard, WA) - Kitsap County’s Department of Community Development is offering homeowners an opportunity to purchase blue address signs. “Blue address signs increase visibility and help those who are trying to find your address,” said Jeff Rowe, Acting Director for DCD. “The signs are highly reflective and help make your address visible both day and night,” Rowe added.
The signs cost $9.25 each. You can order the signs by calling Kitsap1 at 360.337.5777. Payment can be made in person at DCD (located on the lower level of the County Administration Building in Port Orchard) or online at Kitsapgov.com/dcd/building/addressing/acp/addressing_comments_web.htm. Once payment is made the sign will be produced, usually within three to five business days. Finished signs can be picked up at DCD, or mailed with an additional payment of $5.50 for the first sign and $2.00 for each additional sign.
You can also purchase the signs at this year’s Peninsula Home & Garden Expo at the Kitsap Sun Pavilion, March 18-20. DCD will have a booth there with information about the signs and the County’s current project to correct addressing discrepancies.
