                                    Center for Women's Business Advancement
                          Announces Tory C. Marandos Entrepreneurial Challenge

The Center for Women’s Business Advancement at Southern New Hampshire University is honored to administer the Tory C. Marandos Entrepreneurial Challenge.  This business plan competition is open to all active businesses and potential startup businesses in New Hampshire, with less than three years in business. NOTE: The business owner does not have to be a woman.                       

The Tory C. Marandos Entrepreneurial Challenge is designed to help you fine tune your business plan and includes a free 3-hour business plan training on April 20th for the top 10 semi-finalists as well as a $5000 award for the First Place winner and $2000 second prize award.  Winners will be announced at a ceremony on June 1, 2013.

If you are interested in participating, a two-page concept paper needs to be electronically submitted between March 1 and by no later than March 15, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. to marandos@snhu.edu.   For additional inofrmation visit www.cwbanh.com .

U.S. Department of State "Direct Line" Helps Exporters Discover Foreign Opportunities from the Convenience of their office

The Direct Line program provides a unique opportunity for American businesses, particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises, to engage directly via teleconference with U.S. Ambassadors overseas. The program is open to American companies which are already in the country where the Ambassador serves or which are interested in expanding their businesses into those countries.

Calls will vary in topic according to the specific needs for business in a given country.
