SBA Director for Disaster Field Operations West to Join
Business Crisis Management Workshop
WICHITA - Alfred E. Judd, Director for the Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Field Operations Center West, Office of Disaster Assistance, joins a panel of experts to discuss ways businesses can mitigate risks associated with natural disasters in the Business Crisis Management Workshop, February 28, 2013. The workshop will be from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Wichita State University, in the Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 29th St North, Wichita.
SBA teams with representatives from the Kansas Small Business Development Center (KSBDC) and WSU’s Center for Innovation and Enterprise Engagement (CIEE) to discuss disaster preparedness and recovery, data and documentation protection, business continuity planning, and crisis communication.
Natural disasters and operational crises can devastate a small business. How can you deal with weather power outages, employee issues and other crises and remain afloat? Attend this workshop and walk away with a solid understanding of what you need to develop and execute an effective disaster recovery plan including crisis communication, IT, data and documentation recovery.
