The seminar will focus on ways in which you can promote your company to government agencies and prime government contractors. Online searches will demonstrate how you obtain information about your competition, previously awarded contracts and set-aside bids. Attention will be given to looking for budget information that could indicate projections for future procurements. As a marketing strategy you will be shown how to market to prime government contractors and how to develop a capabilities statement.

There will be a brief discussion about services offered by the Connecticut Procurement Technical Assistance Program (CT PTAP) and the Small Business Administration (SBA).
The program is designed to be interactive so that all questions are welcome. Brien Robertson, Director of Connecticut Procurement Technical Assistance Program will present the seminar along with Lisa Powell, Economic Development Specialist from the SBA.
