The SBA Santa Ana District Office (SADO), responsible for the delivery of SBA programs and services to Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, is the #4 office nationwide in terms of dollars loaned to small businesses and ranks #2 in the country in SBA 504 loan dollar volume for the first quarter of fiscal year 2013 (Oct-Dec). This is good news for local entrepreneurs that are prepared to contact SBA lenders to obtain financing to help start and grow small businesses.
During the first quarter of FY13, SADO approved 393 loans for over $229 million (+34% over FY12). 89 were SBA 504 loans for more than $90 million (+92% over FY12), the second highest dollar total out of 68 offices across the country.
"The SBA, especially the Santa Ana District Office, is committed to doing everything we can to make the resources available that small business owners need to grow and create jobs," said Adalberto Quijada, District Director. "Small businesses play a critical role in powering our economy and supporting their success is a top priority for my office."
