SBA's Program of the Month: CAPLines
Every month the Massachusetts District Office highlights one of the SBA's many programs and services. The CAPLines program is designed to help small businesses meet their short-term and cyclical working capital needs. The program can be used to finance seasonal working capital needs; finance the direct costs of performing certain construction, service and supply contracts; finance the direct cost associated with commercial and residential construction; finance operating capital; and consolidate short-term debt. SBA provides up to an 85 percent guarantee and loan limits are up to $5 million.

FREE Counseling Services to Get Your Business Up and Running in 2013
In addition to its Massachusetts District office, the SBA works with a network of business advisors and counselors that can help you write a formal business plan, locate sources of financial assistance, manage or expand your business, find opportunities to sell your goods or services to the government, or recover from a disaster. These passionate, dedicated business experts provide training events, or can meet with you one-on-one. If your New Year's resolution is to start a small business, or grown one you already own, these counselors are a great way to get started.
