The Utah District Office Welcomes Ian Lorenzana, Economic Development Specialist

Ian Lorenzana is an Economic Development Specialist at SBA's Utah District Office. He is the newest member of the team in Salt Lake City, having recently moved from Southern California with his wife and two children. Ian will be helping Utah's small business owners and potential entrepreneurs access the essential SBA resources that they'll need to start, grow and succeed.
Ian is an Army veteran, and has served in two distinguished units; the 1st Infantry Division and the Berlin Brigade. He hopes to take advantage of Utah's beautiful outdoors - from camping, hiking and fishing to off-roading in the family 4X4, he and his family enjoy spending tme together. In addition to outdoor activities, Ian has been involved in 'mixed martial arts' from an early age and is currently training in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Although new to the Utah District Office, Ian has been with the SBA for nearly five years.

The U.S. Small Business Administration has published in the Federal Register two final rules revising size definitions for small business in two broad industry categories, and proposed for comment another rule affecting businesses in a third category.
