The SBA loan program will also be discussed to assist small businesses with access to capital. The seminar will provide information about the program’s eligibility, and the application process. Information will also be available on PTAC, a local resource providing free counseling to small businesses seeking federal contracts. The SBA Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office will host four workshops from 12pm-2pm in cooperation with the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) and ACCION Texas, November 15, 2012 at the McAllen Convention Center, 700 Convention Center Blvd., McAllen, TX 78501 to start off the Hiring Red, White, and You Job Fair hosted by the Workforce Solutions.

The first lab will begin on Tuesday, November 27, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the CESS Building (formerly the Haggar Building), located at 1407 East Freddy Gonzalez in Edinburg, TX, in Room 1.235. These hands-on labs will give you a chance to fill out the entire application step-by-step, troubleshoot any issues, and get advice from knowledgeable staff as you are going through each step. There will be approximately 15-classroom hours, over a three week span. All computer equipment and material will be provided on site. CLASSROOM SEATING VERY LIMITED….Only 10 businesses will be accepted. Your business must meet certain requirements before acceptance.
