Microsoft and the U.S. Small Business
Administration are teaming up to host a Tweetup for Portland area small
business owners and entrepreneurs to learn about business resources in the
community on November 13. A Tweetup is an event where people who tweet come together to meet
in person, allowing them to share more than just 140 characters at a time.
event is open to mom-and-pops, tech startups, and everything in between,
including non-tweeters interested in learning more about business resources and
making connections with other entrepreneurs in their area.
In addition to meeting other entrepreneurs in the community,
participants will have a chance to hear from SBA’s Sean Greene, Associate
Administrator for Innovation & Investment, and Microsoft’s Mark Drapeau,
Director of Innovative Engagement (Public Sector).
The event is free to the public, but space is limited and
registration is required. Free food from Migration Brewing Co. will be provided and a cash bar starting at 6pm
PT will be available. To register, please visit http://pdxbiz.eventbrite.com.
If you cannot attend in person, you can catch all of the
