Encore Entrepreneur Event for Participants Age 50+

SBA and AARP entered into a strategic alliance in May 2012 to provide Americans over the age of 50 with real-world, actionable information they need to start and grow small businesses. Join SBA and AARP next week for a free informal Q&A session to learn about resources available to help you pursue your interest in starting or growing a small business!

Sean Greene to "Crack the Code" at National SBIR Conference in Portland, November 13-15, 2012

SBA Associate Administrator Sean Greene will be delivering the keynote address at the upcoming National SBIR Conference. Entrepreneurs seeking to tap the $2.5 billion in annual federal funding for small business research, innovation, and technology transfer, will learn insights and updates pertaining to the SBIR/STTR program in 2013.
The Micro-enterprise Inventors Program of Oregon (MIPO) and the Oregon Small Business Development Center Network (OSBDC) will host the SBIR/STTR 2012 National Conference: Crack the Code –an event that welcomes entrepreneurs, businesses, government agencies, innovators, universities, and community partners to Portland, Oregon.


SBA Hits the Road!

Join members of the Portland District Office staff who will be participating with a number of community partners in the 2012 Governor's Marketplace Roadshow. We are scheduled to make the following stops to share about the SBA resources available to you and your small business:
     10/10 Hood River
     10/24 Astoria
     10/25 Newport
