Join SBA, AARP and the Women's Business Center at WomenVenture on October 2nd for a small business resource mini-fair of organizations and resources that can help you as you start and manage your business. The mini-fair is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at WomenVenture. In addition to the mini-fair, at 10:00 am we'll have a panel including an encore entrepreneur, small business resource partner and a representative from SW Initiative Foundation's Encore Entrepreneur Program to share their stories and experiences with the audience. The panel will be followed by audience questions and answers.
For many older entrepreneurs, starting a small business can be an opportunity to transform lifetime hobbies and experiences into a lucrative line of work. Whether you're interested in starting a business right now or intend to wait until retirement, now is the time to explore the possibilities - starting a business, purchasing a business, or buying a franchise - through the help of many small business resources available to you.
There is no charge to attend, but registration is required by emailing SBA at Minneapolis.MN@sba.gov
with your name and any guests that will be attending.
