Open Forum HUBZone Helpline

Dear HUBZone Certified Firms and Interested Firms:
This is to introduce the following notification about HUBZone’s new Open Forum Helpline “Office Hours” that are being established to help our clients find solutions to their HUBZone certification questions.
The HUBZone Office staff is now conducting interactive conference calls or sessions on a variety of topics pertaining to eligibility and continuing eligibility issues every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00am to 12:00pm PDT.
We encourage our customers to participate in these upcoming sessions and don’t hesitate to give us your feedback on this new initiative. The calls can accommodate up to 120 callers.

New SBA Platform Lets Small Businesses Tell Their Stories Videos Showcase Entrepreneurs Who Have Started or Grown a Business 

Everyone has a story, and now the U.S. Small Business Administration is giving entrepreneurs a new online platform to share their stories and showcase their successful and thriving businesses.
SBA has launched “Small Business Owners Speak,” an interactive platform featuring videos by entrepreneurs from across the country who have started or grown a business with the help of the SBA.  The videos will be featured at www.sba.gov/stories.

New SBA Web Tool Helps with Market Research SizeUp Allows Business Owners to Research Data and Analytics To Start or Grow a Business

Small business owners and start-ups across the country can now take advantage of a new business tool to help them compete and grow. The free tool, called SizeUp, helps businesses identify new customers and compare their performance against other businesses in their industry with data collected from hundreds of private and public sources. The tool can be found at www.sba.gov/sizeup.
