SBA and AARP Present Entrepreneur-Mentor Matchmaker in Columbia for National Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Day

AARP and the U.S. Small Business Administration will team up October 2 to host the first National Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Day, part of a joint effort to promote entrepreneurship among individuals ages 50 and over.
As part of National Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Day, the AARP South Carolina office and the SBA South Carolina District Office will present Retirement Reimagined: Starting a Business as a Second Career in Columbia.
WHO: New and aspiring entrepreneurs ages 50 and over
WHAT: Retirement Reimagined: Starting a Business as a Second Career -- an event featuring:
  • Panel of Experts -- A panel discussion with business experts and successful business owners, and
  • Entrepreneur-Mentor Matchmaker -- A speed dating style session connecting attendees with advisers who can help them build and grow successful small businesses.
