Could you be America’s next successful small business owner? The U.S. Small Business Administration and AARP will team up October 2 to host the first National Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Day. The event is targeted at entrepreneurs over the age of 50 and up to match these “encore entrepreneurs” with successful business owners and community leaders for advice and assistance.
Sixty-three percent of Americans plan to work during retirement. Small business ownership is a good option and small business owners with long-term counselors see greater sales, hire more workers and are more successful. Join us to meet mentors from the SBA’s network of Small Business development Centers (SBDCs), Women’s Business Centers (WBCs), and SCORE Chapters. These experts can help turn your business idea into a reality and advise you throughout the life of your business.
