SBA’s San Diego District Office and AARP to Host Half-Day Training Event for National Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Day
In support of work reimagined, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and AARP will host a half-day training event, with a continental breakfast, for National Encore Entrepreneur Mentor Day, on Tuesday, October 2nd, to link business owners and “wantrapreneurs” with community resources to help solve their most critical business needs.
SBA, AARP representatives will open the program by providing a brief overview of their organizations. Followed by the sharing of success stories, by senior entrepreneurs, in a session entitled: “We Thought We Were Going to Retire, Right? Re-Careering Senior Success Stories”. In addition, there will be two workshops entitled: “Everything You Need to Know About Operating a Home-Based Business” and "Exploring Franchise Options”. The event will end with a panel of representatives from traditional and alternative small business lenders addressing: How to Find Sources of Capital.
