SBA Hits the Road!
Join members of the Portland District Office staff who will be participating with a number of community partners in the 2012 Governor's Marketplace Roadshow. We are scheduled to make the following stops to share about the SBA resources available to you and your small business:

System for Award Management (SAM) Launch on 7/29
Registered to sell your products or services to the Federal Government? Please be advised that starting Monday, July 30, you'll find the capabilities of the CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS at
SAM.gov.
If you have a registration in CCR/FedReg or have completed representations and certifications in ORCA, all your information is being moved to SAM. When it is time to renew, SAM will notify you by email (60, 30, and 15 days prior to the date when your record is set to expire) and tell you how to proceed. If you need to update your record before your expiration date, the quick start guides and webinars in the Help tab of SAM.gov will walk you through the process.
7(j) Training for 8(a) Firms, 8/20-21
We are excited to offer 8(a) certified firms in the developmental stage of the program an opportunity to attend some free training. The courses are Accounting and Financial Management and Capture Management (Marketing) and will be held at the Portland District SBA Office on August 20-21 starting at 9:00 am each day. These courses are organized and funded by SBA Headquarters under the SBA 7(j) program.
