NIST MEP has decided to cancel its Summer Regional Meeting, which was scheduled for May 21-23 in Philadelphia, PA. Unfortunately NIST was unable to complete the contract planning in time for a May meeting. Because of this, NIST MEP was concerned that due to the late date, we would not be able to arrange a successful meeting as well as provide sufficient time for you to book flights, reserve hotel rooms and register for the event. We've decided that the best approach is to focus on plans for the upcoming June and July meeting dates and only hold those two regional meetings for the 2013 summer schedule.
Our new summer meeting plans, which should be finalized very soon, are as follows:
- June 24 – MEP Advisory Board meeting
- June 25-26 (TENTATIVE: Denver, CO)
*Assume that this meeting will convene the Pacific Northwest, Southwest and Midwest regions of the MEP centers.
- July 22-23 (TENTATIVE: Philadelphia, PA)
*Assume that this meeting will convene Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the MEP centers.
