June 10-16 is Men's Health Week. Share real life stories from NDEP volunteers.

Men's Health Week NDEP

National Men's Health Week (June 10-16) is a great opportunity to help men in your community make healthy changes to prevent type 2 diabetes or manage the disease. Nearly 12 percent of men in the United States ages 20 or older—about 13 million men—have diabetes. Share the real life stories of NDEP volunteers HaywoodDavid, and Sterling, who are making lifestyle changes to take control of their health. Use NDEP’s newly revised 4 Steps to Manage Your Diabetes For Life for steps to help people better understand, monitor, and manage their diabetes, or Get Real! You Don't Have to Knock Yourself Out to Prevent Diabetes for tips on getting active and eating healthy foods to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes.
