May is Older Americans Month. Join NDEP to Help Older Adults Make Changes for Better Health.

Older Americans Month

In observance of Older Americans Month this May, the National Diabetes Education Program (NDEP) is joining the Administration on Aging to help older adults stay positive, active, and looking forward by encouraging them to make changes for better health – whether they are working to prevent type 2 diabetes or manage the disease. Get involved this month by sharing NDEP's It's Not Too Late to Prevent Diabetes tip sheet and The Power To Control Diabetes Is in Your Hands brochure to help older adults take steps to prevent or manage type 2 diabetes and live longer, healthier lives. You can also search NDEP’s Diabetes HealthSense resource for more tools to help older adults set goals and make changes to live well.
