Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified supervisory auditor to be a proactive member of our management team. This position is assigned to the Office of Audits (JA), Office of Inspector General, Real Property Audit Office (JA-R). The Program Director of our Real Property Audit Office (JA-R) is responsible for directing all Real Property audit activities and successfully implementing all division programs. The incumbent exercises the full range of supervisory duties and manages a recurring annual workload requiring direction of a staff of professional auditors including subordinate team leaders to perform JA-Rs diverse and complex internal and contract audits. Personally and/or through subordinate team leaders, the Program Director ensures the timely performance of a satisfactory quantity and quality of work. The Program Director is responsible for planning and performing comprehensive internal audits of GSAs real property programs. The internal audits evaluate the efficiency of operations, the achievement of program results, and the adequacy and effectiveness of existing controls for conducting and managing GSA's national real property programs as reflected in the policies, procedures, systems, methods, and related practices.
