Job Summary:
This position has potential conversion from the Pathways Student Intern may be further converted to a term or permanent appointment in the competitive service. The employee may be promoted to a higher grade level while in the Pathways Intern Program and up to the full promotion level upon/after conversion. GSA has been repeatedly named by the Partnership for Public Service as one of the 'Best Places to Work in the Federal Government'. As a Student Intern, you will be working independently or as a team member performing productive assignments of limited difficulty with the objective of accomplishing training while assisting in the substantive work of the functional area. Work assignments are designed to permit the knowledge acquired through education and training to be applied to particular work situations. This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The office provides policy leadership in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.
