USDA Designates 5 Counties in South Carolina as Primary Natural Disaster Area with Assistance to Producers in North Carolina

WASHINGTON, Dec. 2, 2015 — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has designated Cherokee, Greenville, Pickens, Spartanburg and Union counties in South Carolina as primary natural disaster areas due to damages and losses caused by excessive rain and flooding that occurred from Oct. 1, 2015, and continues.
