 New FAI Director Announced!
We are excited to announce that Jeff Birch has been selected as the Director for the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI). He joined FAI as the Deputy Director and most recently has been serving as FAI's Acting Director. In his acting role, Jeff has provided steadfast leadership, achieved the respect of senior leaders across the civilian agency and DoD communities, and evolved his excellent relationship with the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP). Jeff is a former Contracting Officer who served with the U.S. Navy, lead PMRs and training development efforts across Southeast Asia. Jeff held several positions at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) where prior to joining FAI he served as the Director, Acquisition Career Manager (DACM) for the defense agencies. Over and over, he has demonstrated his commitment and understands the importance in taking care of acquisition workforce professionals. Congratulations Jeff!

 Save the Date! Gateway University - Winter Session
The Winter Session of Acquisition Gateway University will be held from January 22 - Feb 2, 2018.
This two-week online education series will provide daily, one-hour sessions focused on a variety of acquisition topics. Hear from Contracting Officers across government on how they are using the Acquisition Gateway acquisition lifecycle. You can also obtain updates on Category Management, Best in Class and more! Participants can earn one Continuous Learning Point (CLP) for each class attended. Once available, a registration link will be posted on the Acquisition Gateway.
