39 state authorities have indicated that they intend to nominate schools to ED. State education agencies are encouraged indicate their intent to nominate schools in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 30th. Schools cannot apply directly to ED and must be nominated by their state education agency. State participation is voluntary and may depend on hearing from interested schools.
