Job Summary:

This is a temporary student internship appointment, not to exceed six (6) months. Appointee may become eligible for non-competitive conversion to a term or permanent position in the competitive service, at the agency's discretion. This position is located in the U. S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Boston/New York Region, Boston, MA. Under the direction of a professional staff member, the incumbent is responsible for providing Para technical assistance in the Federal/State Statistical Programs. The junior economist trainee works under senior staff in economic data collection and technical support work within the occupational safety and health statistics branch. Students must have a major in economics .
