Job Summary:
This position is located in the Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking, Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB). The Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking (OCFT) is responsible for developing policy, researching, investigating, and reporting on international child labor, trafficking in persons, and forced labor and to support efforts to eradicate exploitive child labor and improve the livelihoods of vulnerable populations in developing countries. ILAB has a regulatory obligation to conduct active monitoring and oversight of its grant projects, and to provide technical assistance to our grantees whenever possible. The incumbent serves as an International Relations Officer in the Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking under the general supervision of the Office Director, Deputy Director, and Division Chief. The incumbent is responsible for various tasks related to assessing the accuracy and reliability of project performance data, assessing compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and assisting projects with corrective actions to address any identified deficiencies. GS-14 is the full performance level of this position. This position is inside the bargaining unit. Relocation expenses will not be covered. *Applicants please note this position is subject to annual mandatory random drug testing.*
