U.S Army Sgt. 1st Class Freddy Bloom directs a patrol through the city of Chorah, Afghanistan, Feb. 23, 2013. The team was en route to Forward Operating Base Mirwais after mentoring local police officers at Afghan police district headquarters. Bloom is a member of a Security Force Assistance Team.
