U.S. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta waves goodbye from London, Jan. 19, 2013, before returning to Washington, D.C., on a military aircraft during his last overseas trip as the 23rd defense secretary. Panetta concluded a six-day trip to Europe to visit with defense counterparts and troops.
