U.S. troops conduct a mission brief before departing for a leadership meeting in Farah City, Afghanistan, Jan. 8, 2013. The soldiers, assigned to Provincial Reconstruction Team Farah, met with members of the Provincial Joint Secretariat Team to discuss peace initiatives in the province.
