Coast Guardsmen prepare to demonstrate their swimming skills during a public training exercise at the new Rescue Swimmer Training Facility in Elizabeth City, N.C., Oct. 17, 2012. The new building encompasses approximately 50,000-square-feet including a 164-by-82-foot training pool that is 12-feet deep and holds more than one million gallons of water.
