U.S. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta meets with Chinese Vice Adm. Tian Zhong, commander of the North Sea Fleet, in Qingdao, China, Sept. 20, 2012. Panetta visited Tokyo, Beijing and Qingdao before continuing to Auckland, New Zealand, during a weeklong trip to the Asia-Pacific region.
