Veterans Affiars Secretary Eric K. Shinseki testifys before a joint session of the House Armed Services and Veterans Affairs committees in Washington, D.C., July 25, 2012. Shinseki and Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta testified on ways to improve the transition from active duty service to veteran status.
