U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter meets with Japanese Parliamentary Senior Defense Vice Minister Shu Watanabe in Tokyo, July 20, 2012. Japan is the third stop for Carter during a 10-day Asia-Pacific tour meeting leaders in Hawaii, Guam, Thailand, India and South Korea.
