U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter greets U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Kenneth J. Glueck Jr., commanding general of the III Marine Expeditionary Force, after arriving on Yokota Air Base, Japan, July 20, 2012. Japan is the third stop for Carter during a 10-day Asia-Pacific tour meeting leaders in Hawaii, Guam, Thailand, India and South Korea.
