A U.S. Army paratrooper provides overwatch security to fellow paratroopers and Afghan soldiers after a firefight in Afghanistan's Ghazni province, May 17, 2012. The paratrooper is assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team. Insurgents use the agricultural areas surrounding Combat Outpost Giro for various activities.
