Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta delivers remarks at 10 a.m. EDT during graduation exercises at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md.

Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta attends the Marine Barracks Evening Parade hosted by Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. James Amos in Washington, D.C. at 7 p.m. EDT.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter has no public or media events on his schedule.

Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Norton A. Schwartz presents two Distinguished Flying Cross medals with valor, each, to Maj. John B. Creel and Col. Christopher Barnett at 11 a.m. EDT during a ceremony in the Airman's Hall on the 4th floor, A-ring, apex of Corridors 9 and 10. Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of press affiliation and two forms of photo identification.
