U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Christopher Owens, right, accompanies Chinese Minister of National Defense Gen. Liang Guanglie on a tour of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., May 9, 2012. Owens is the deputy commanding general of II Marine Expeditionary Force. Liang is visiting U.S. military bases at the invitation of U.S. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta.
