April 1, 2013 — Maryland man sentenced for obstructing investigations related to government security clearance

A Potomac, Md., man was sentenced for obstruction of agency proceedings, in connection with false statements he made to investigators during his background investigation for a high-level government security clearance. The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), FBI and Defense Criminal Investigative Service. Full Story

April 3, 2013 — More than 100 arrested in HSI-led Connecticut drug bust

April 4, 2013 — Operation Broken Secret nets 10 arrests for child pornography

In what is considered to be an unprecedented increase in the number of child pornography cases in Puerto Rico, HSI special agents, working jointly with officers assigned to the Puerto Rico Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested 10 individuals on child pornography charges in a period of nine weeks. The latest arrests took place in the municipalities of Ponce, Guaynabo, Barranquitas and Toa Alta. Full Story
